BMW Z4 GT3 Returns to Nürburgring 24 Hours
In a notable entry for this year’s ADAC 24H Nürburgring, Peter Posavac, in partnership with Koopman Racing, has confirmed the participation of a second BMW Z4 GT3. This announcement follows Posavac’s successful social media campaign that garnered over 5,000 likes after he tested the Z4 GT3 at Circuit Zandvoort earlier this month.
Posavac brings experience from his previous participation in the event, having raced the Z4 GT3 in 2019 with Team Speedline Racing. Since then, he has been a consistent competitor at the Nürburgring, primarily racing in GT4, including an outing in an Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT4 last year.
The Z4 GT3 entry complements the previously announced campaign by Saugmotoren Motorsport and BMW’s factory M3 Touring team, enhancing the presence of BMW vehicles at the endurance event.
As a precursor to the 24-hour race scheduled for April 14-17, 2026, Koopman Racing will debut the Z4 GT3 in the upcoming Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie round on April 11, 2026.
This strategic involvement reflects growing interest and commitment to the endurance racing scene, increasing anticipation among fans for this year’s event.
