Max Verstappen Tests Ferrari 296 GT3 Ahead of NLS Race

Nürburgring Nordschleife, [Date] – Four-time Formula 1 World Champion Max Verstappen has been spotted testing a Michelin-equipped Ferrari 296 GT3 on the Nürburgring Nordschleife, gearing up for the third race of the Nürburgring Langstrecken Serie (NLS) set for tomorrow.

This marks a significant expansion of Verstappen’s GT3 racing program in 2025, which now includes participation in the GT World Challenge Europe Sprint and Endurance series, as well as the DTM, through collaborations with 2 Seas Motorsport and Emil Frey Racing.

Despite his recent activities, the Ferrari 296 GT3 will not be competing in the latest entry list for NLS3, which features 141 cars.

Insiders have indicated that Verstappen may make his competitive GT3 debut in the near future, adding to the anticipation surrounding his transition from single-seaters to endurance racing.
