Mercedes-AMG Confirmed for Unchanged Line-Up in 2026 DTM Season
Mercedes-AMG Motorsport has announced its driver line-up for the 2026 DTM season, featuring a retention of its key personnel. Both Mercedes-AMG Team Landgraf and Mercedes-AMG Team Winward Racing will field the same drivers as last year.

Maro Engel will compete under the number 80 in honor of title sponsor Ravenol’s 80th anniversary. The seasoned driver has been a consistent performer, finishing third in the championship for two consecutive seasons. Engel expressed enthusiasm, noting, “Together with Mercedes-AMG Team RAVENOL, we have come up with a very special design.”

Jules Gounon showed promising results in the prior season, clinching three podium finishes and contending for the title until the final race weekend. He emphasized the competitiveness of the DTM, stating, “My goal for this year is to give everything… to build on what we started last season.”
Manufacturers’ Championship Goals:
Entering 2026, Mercedes-AMG is seeking a record-extending 17th DTM manufacturers’ championship and aims to reclaim the drivers’ crown for the 13th time. Christoph Sagemüller, Head of Mercedes-AMG Motorsport, highlighted the brand’s historic success in the series and the importance of transparent conditions for competition.
The DTM season is set to commence at the Red Bull Ring in Austria from April 24-26, 2026.
