Hawkins and Orton Set for Full Season in British GT Championship with MKH Racing
Jessica Hawkins and Will Orton are confirmed to race in the 2026 British GT Championship, piloting the #21 Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT4 Evo for MKH Racing. This marks the team’s debut full-season effort, following a selective participation in the previous year.
MKH Racing is now one of six teams fielding Aston Martin GT4 entries, increasing the competition within the category. Orton brings a wealth of experience, having previously secured fourth place in the overall GT4 standings and second in the Pro-Am category during the 2024 season.
“I’m absolutely thrilled to return to the British GT Championship with MKH Racing, partnering with Jessica Hawkins,” Orton stated. “Their ambition and professionalism align perfectly with our goals for a strong campaign.”
Hawkins, who returns to British GT after competing in a Beechdean-run Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT3 Evo two years ago, emphasized her eagerness to collaborate with Orton. “Together, we’ll be a very strong combination. Our aim is to fight for the championship,” she noted.
Team manager Andrew Kirk expressed confidence in the driver lineup. “Will’s experience and Jessica’s background make this an ideal pairing with our team’s GT expertise,” he said, highlighting MKH Racing’s commitment to a full campaign following a challenging previous season.
Testing is set to commence soon as the team prepares for the upcoming season, aiming for a competitive showing in 2026.
