FIA WEC Launches FIAWEC+: New Streaming Platform Enhances Fan Experience
Paris, France – The FIA World Endurance Championship (FIA WEC) has officially launched FIAWEC+, a revamped streaming platform designed to elevate the viewing experience for motorsport fans globally.
FIAWEC+ introduces key advancements over its predecessor, FIA WEC TV, including Live Timing Pro and original content series such as “WEC Insider” and “WEC Originals.” The inaugural episode will spotlight Genesis’ preparations for its entry into the Hypercar category, accessible to all users, with subsequent episodes reserved for 365 Pass holders.
In a notable shift, FIA WEC coverage is now fully accessible without geo-blocking restrictions, allowing fans in previously banned regions like the USA to watch both qualifying and race broadcasts live.
The service offers complete live timing for all FIA WEC sessions, live streams from Free Practice 3 onwards at regular events, and every session of the prestigious 24 Hours of Le Mans. Additionally, it will cover rounds from the European Le Mans Series and Michelin Le Mans Cup, replacing last year’s YouTube broadcasts.
Pricing for FIAWEC+ is set at €49.99 for an annual 365 Pass, while individual race passes are available at €9.99, with the 24 Hours of Le Mans priced at €19.99. Notably, ELMS and Le Mans Cup events will be available free of charge.
The platform’s app will also be released on Android and Apple devices soon.
