Paradine Competition Expands into Ginetta Junior Championship for 2026

Paradine Competition, a prominent team in the GT World Challenge Europe, is set to enter the Ginetta Junior Championship with a two-car lineup for the 2026 season. This strategic move marks the team’s expansion into junior racing, featuring rookie drivers Vicky Farfus and Samuel del Gaudio.

Farfus, supported by Iron Dames and the daughter of BMW M factory driver Augusto Farfus, aims to leverage her karting success—which saw her become the first female driver to finish in the top five at the FIA Karting World Cup final last year. “This is a big step for me,” said Farfus. “I’m focused on learning and improving with every race.”

Del Gaudio joins Paradine after a background in karting in Italy and experience with Formula 4 testing. “I’m really happy to start this new adventure in the Ginetta Junior Championship,” he remarked. “I hope to perform well and compete for the championship.”

The entry is significant for team owner Darren Leung, who began his racing career in the Ginetta GT Academy in 2021. The Ginetta Junior Championship is set to kick off at Donington Park on April 11-12, 2026, with 29 drivers already confirmed for the inaugural season, which will be organized by SRO Motorsports Group.

Key Quotes:

  • Vicky Farfus: “Representing Iron Dames is a source of great pride and motivation to pursue my motorsport career.”
  • Samuel del Gaudio: “I can’t wait to improve race after race and fight for the championship!”

This development promises to add a dynamic edge to the Ginetta Junior Championship as Paradine Competition looks to build on its success through nurturing emerging talent.
