Peugeot Sport Unveils Distinctive Livery for 2026 FIA World Endurance Championship
Peugeot Sport has introduced a bold new livery for its 9X8 Hypercar, set to compete in the 2026 FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC). The design features a striking combination of white, red, and black, drawing inspiration from the iconic Peugeot 205 GTi, which debuted in 1984. The primary color, ‘Okenite White’, will also represent the new E208 GTi road car, unveiled at last year’s 24 Hours of Le Mans.
The #93 9X8 will be piloted by Nick Cassidy, Paul di Resta, and Stoffel Vandoorne, while the #94 entry will see drivers Loïc Duval, Malthe Jakobsen, and Théo Pourchaire behind the wheel.
2026 marks a pivotal year for Peugeot, coinciding with the centenary of its participation in the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Team Principal Emmanuel Esnault emphasized the significance of the new livery, stating, “Unveiling a new livery is always a key moment for the brand. It symbolizes the start of a new season and a new dynamic driven by renewed ambitions, while remaining firmly rooted in Peugeot’s heritage.”
The season opener, the Qatar 1812KM, is scheduled for March 26-28, 2026.
