Manthey Racing Unveils 2026 DTM Driver Line-Up, Aiming for Title Defense
Reigning teams’ champion Manthey Racing has confirmed its driver roster for the 2026 Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters (DTM) season, showcasing a pair of Porsche 911 GT3 Rs (992.2) as they defend their title.
Thomas Preining, the 2023 drivers’ champion, returns to the #91 entry for his fourth consecutive season. He is joined by Ricardo Feller in the #90 Porsche, who replaces 2025 champion Ayhancan Güven, now transitioning to the FIA World Endurance Championship.
Feller, a 25-year-old Swiss talent, arrives from Land-Motorsport, marking his first DTM season outside the Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo II. Having secured three DTM victories and finishing third in the 2023 standings, Feller expressed enthusiasm about joining Manthey: “Joining Manthey is a dream come true… the results speak for themselves.”
Preining, eyeing a second championship title, emphasized the strength of his partnership with Manthey: “Over the years, our collaboration has grown… we can consistently fight for the championship.” His consistent track record includes never finishing outside the top five in championship standings throughout his career, and he aims to maintain this trend.
Patrick Arkenau, Director of Racing at Manthey Racing GmbH, highlighted the importance of consistency within the team: “Thomas’s experience is a significant advantage… we are delighted that Ricardo is joining as our second driver.”
The 2026 DTM season kicks off at the Red Bull Ring in Austria from April 24-26, 2026, with Manthey looking to build on their impressive championship legacy.
