Le Castellet, France – Proton Huber Competition secured a thrilling victory at the Michelin 12H PAUL RICARD, finishing just 3.4 seconds ahead of Red Ant Racing in a dramatic conclusion that unfolded under the night sky. The team, featuring drivers Klaus Bachler, Manuel Lauck, Jorg Dreisow, and Mark Wallenwein, triumphed with their Porsche 911 GT3 R (992) after a tense final half-hour punctuated by two Code 60 cautions.
“I’m overwhelmed with emotions,” remarked Dreisow. “Such a win is a big team event; it’s unbelievable.” The victory also propelled Proton Huber to the top of the GT3 PRO-AM standings in the Michelin 24H SERIES European Series.
