Noaker Completes Perfect Season at Mustang Challenge Finale
Robert Noaker conclusively secured the 2025 Mustang Challenge Championship with an unbeaten performance this past weekend at Charlotte Motor Speedway. Driving his #13 RNR Ford Mustang Dark Horse R, Noaker swept both races, further solidifying his dominance in the series.
In Race 1, Noaker triumphed over Sam Paley (#26 Paley Motorsport) and Devin Anderson (#22 TechSport), leading every lap and setting the fastest time. Race 2 saw Noaker maintain his lead despite challenges from Paley, who capitalized on late-race cautions. Andrew Aquilante, making his series debut with Robert Noaker Racing, finished third, marking a notable achievement in his first outing.
Noaker’s 2025 season was unprecedented; he won all 12 championship races, led every practice and qualifying session, and secured pole positions throughout the season. His only defeat came at the non-championship Mustang Challenge Le Mans Invitational, where he recovered from a 39th-place start to finish eighth and second.
Anderson, despite encountering mechanical issues in Race 2, claimed second in the championship standings, benefiting from four second-place finishes over the season, edging out Sandy Satullo (#7 Robert Noaker Racing) on tiebreakers.
In the Dark Horse Legends (DHL) championship, Alex Bachoura (#33 Spark Performance) secured his second title, winning both races over the weekend and defeating Alfonso Diaz (#15 TechSport) who placed second in both. Zachry Lee (#48 McCumbee McAleer Racing) finished as runner-up in the DHL standings despite a promising start to the season.
The 2026 Mustang Challenge North America season is set to commence on March 18-20 at Sebring International Raceway.
