United Autosports Unveils LMP2 Driver Line-Up for Asian Le Mans Series
Sepang, Malaysia – United Autosports has announced its driver roster for the upcoming 2025/26 Asian Le Mans Series, initiating competition next month at Sepang International Circuit. The team’s #5 entry will feature Giorgio Roda, Grégoire Saucy, and Mikkel Jensen, complementing the previously disclosed #6 line-up of Phil Fayer, Ben Hanley, and Paul Di Resta.
Both Roda and Jensen are newcomers to United Autosports, while Saucy brings two seasons of experience with the team in the European Le Mans Series (ELMS) and FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC).
Roda, a proven qualifier, achieved a clean sweep of pole positions in the previous Asian Le Mans Series season with Proton Competition, adding four LMP2 Pro/Am poles in the recent ELMS. He expressed enthusiasm about joining United Autosports, stating, “The team has been a strong reference in LMP2 for a long time… I’m confident we can do a solid job together.”
Mikkel Jensen, who transitioned from Peugeot’s Hypercar program, last raced in the Asian Le Mans Series in 2023 and aims to secure a Le Mans 24 Hours entry for United Autosports. “I’m incredibly excited… I will do my best to try and win,” he said.
Grégoire Saucy enters the Asian Le Mans Series as a rookie but arrives with substantial racing experience from LMP2 and GT3 categories. He remarked on the unique challenges of the series, particularly in relation to the unfamiliar Sepang circuit.
United Autosports CEO Richard Dean articulated the team’s ambitions: “We are going to the Asian Le Mans Series with a clear aim to win the championship with the strongest driver line-ups… these driver signings are three very strong statements of intent.”
In addition to the LMP2 entries, the team will also field a McLaren GT3 Evo in the GT class, with Wayne Boyd currently the sole driver nominated for that effort.
The 2025/26 Asian Le Mans Series kicks off from December 12 to 14, 2025, in Sepang.
