TF Sport Set to Debut Corvette Z06 GT3.R in Asian Le Mans Series

TF Sport is poised to enter the 2025/2026 Asian Le Mans Series with two Corvette Z06 GT3.Rs, marking the team’s expansion into this competitive platform. The British outfit, currently fielding multiple Corvette models in the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) and the European Le Mans Series (ELMS), aims to broaden its presence in Asia.

Team principal Tom Ferrier confirmed the plan, stating, “We are very committed to the ACO racing platform. What I can already say is that we will be in the Asian Le Mans with two Corvette Z06 GT3s.” This move comes as TF Sport transitions from its previous partnership, where it operated the Pure Racing LMP2 Oreca last season.

Further solidifying their ambitions, TF Sport will receive two new Corvettes from the United States, enhancing their racing arsenal. “We will be in the ELMS with one or two Corvettes if we can secure a second entry,” Ferrier added. “In the WEC, we will also have two Corvettes. So, we’re pursuing a similar program to this year, but with a greater focus on Asia.”

Additionally, there is potential for collaboration with JMR, a former Asian LMS competitor that has shifted allegiance to the Z06 GT3.R, possibly increasing the Corvette count further. Driver lineups for the Asian venture and other 2026 programs are expected to be announced soon.

The strategic move underscores TF Sport’s commitment to leveraging the strengths of the Corvette brand on a larger international stage, thereby enhancing its competitive profile in endurance racing.
