Topham Joins Orange Racing for British GT Finale at Donington
Matt Topham will compete in his fourth British GT race of the season, co-driving the #67 McLaren GT3 Evo for Orange Racing by JMH at Donington Park on October 4-5. With regular driver Simon Orange absent due to business commitments in Asia, Topham will partner with Marcus Clutton, a familiar face from their previous collaboration at Snetterton.
Topham, who stepped in for reigning GT3 champion Rob Collard at the Donington opener, also appeared at the Silverstone 500 and raced the #3 McLaren for Optimum Motorsport at Spa. “It’s great to be joining Orange Racing by JMH for the Donington Decider,” Topham stated. “I’m excited to get back in the McLaren 720S GT3 Evo with Marcus, as we have built a strong relationship.”
Simon Orange expressed regret over missing the finale, saying, “I’m gutted to be missing the final round…but I wish Matt and the team the best of luck. I will be keeping an eye on the timesheets from overseas.”
The eighth and final round of the 2025 British GT championship will be live on SRO’s GT World YouTube channel and Sky Sports F1, kicking off at 13:15 on Sunday.
