BMW M Motorsport Finalizes 2026 Driver Line-Up with Addition of Tim Tramnitz

BMW M Motorsport has officially announced its driver roster for the 2026 season, featuring the signing of 21-year-old Tim Tramnitz. The German racer, previously focused on single-seater competitions, secured fourth place in the 2022 FIA Formula 3 Championship and demonstrated significant promise during a recent evaluation test in a BMW M4 GT3 EVO.

Tramnitz joins fellow new signing Jordan Pepper, both replacing Jesse Krohn and Madison Snow, while maintaining a total of 23 drivers within the works team. This strategic move reflects BMW’s commitment to integrating emerging talent into their competitive framework.

“I am super happy to now be part of the BMW M Motorsport family and look forward to the challenge,” Tramnitz expressed. “This is a big step for me, as I’ve always dreamed of becoming a works driver for a major manufacturer since my early karting days.”

Andreas Roos, head of BMW M Motorsport, commended Tramnitz as “one of the greatest German young talents.” Roos highlighted Tramnitz’s impressive learning curve during his debut in a GT3 race car and confirmed that the team is well-prepared for the upcoming race seasons, including campaigns with the BMW M Hybrid V8 and M4 GT3 EVO.
