2025 British GT Championship: Brands Hatch Qualifying Summary

Brands Hatch, UK – The #18 2 Seas Mercedes-AMG GT3 EVO, driven by Maximillian Götz and Kevin Tse, secured pole position for the latest round of the British GT Championship, registering a total time of 2:46.787. Tse set the stage in the opening session with a lap of 1:23.971, while Götz improved on this in the second session with a blistering 1:22.816.

This marks their first joint pole of the 2025 season, with the duo previously dominating qualifying at Oulton Park and Snetterton. The competition was tight, with the top seven cars finishing within one second of each other. The #7 Blackthorn Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT3 EVO, piloted by Giacomo Petrobelli and Jonny Adam, qualified second with a combined time of 2:47.003.

Barwell Motorsport secured third and fourth positions with their #78 Lamborghini Huracan GT3 EVO2 and #1 Lamborghini (featuring Rob Collard and Hugo Cook), clocking in behind the Optimum Motorsport’s #77 McLaren 720S GT3 EVO in fifth. The championship-leading #42 Mercedes-AMG faced challenges, ultimately qualifying sixth.

The #17 Optimum Motorsport McLaren, manned by Harry George and Luca Hopkinson, qualified second, followed by the #71 Century Motorsport BMW M4 GT4 EVO, which is fighting for championship points.
