United Autosports to Return to Asian Le Mans Series for 2025/26 Season
Yorkshire, UK — United Autosports has announced a return to the Asian Le Mans Series for the 2025/26 season, fielding a two-car entry for the first time in two years. The specific class of competition—whether LMP2, GT3, or a combination—has yet to be disclosed.
United Autosports boasts a strong track record in the series, having secured its first championship titles in 2018/19 (LMP2) and 2021 (LMP3). The team’s CEO, Richard Dean, expressed enthusiasm about the return, stating, “It is fantastic to see the Asian Le Mans Series back on our racing calendar. We have great memories in this series, winning races and taking championship titles, and we’re working hard to replicate that success when we line up on the grid in 2025/26.”
The team is currently busy with a successful IMSA LMP2 program, which saw victory at the 2025 Rolex 24 at Daytona and a podium finish at the Twelve Hours of Sebring in 2024. Additionally, United Autosports is the official racing partner of McLaren Automotive in the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) LMGT3 class, where they have achieved notable results including two pole positions and front-row lockouts.
In total, United Autosports is set to compete with three entries in the 2025 European Le Mans Series across LMP2, LMP2 Pro/Am, and LMGT3—marking McLaren’s return to endurance racing.
The 2025/26 Asian Le Mans Series schedule includes six four-hour races across prominent circuits: Sepang International Circuit (December 12-14, 2025), Dubai (January 29 – February 1, 2026), and Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi (February 6-8, 2026).
This return positions United Autosports as a formidable contender in what promises to be a competitive season.
