Sepang, Malaysia – United Autosports has officially unveiled its driver line-up for the 2025-26 Asian Le Mans Series, which kicks off with a double-header at the Sepang International Circuit from December 12-14, 2025. The team will field the #6 ORECA 07 – Gibson, joining a record 16-car LMP2 field.

Driver Line-up

The trio of Phil Fayer, Ben Hanley, and Paul Di Resta will share driving duties in the #6 car, marking a continued partnership within the team. Fayer, a bronze-rated driver, is stepping up from a successful prototype debut in the IMSA Sportscar Championship, where he finished fourth at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park and Road America. Fayer expressed enthusiasm about his opportunity, stating, “I’m excited to be joining the Asian Le Mans Series with United Autosports. It’s a great complement to my IMSA program.”

Hanley, the 2022 Asian Le Mans Series LMP2 champion, returns to the series after a two-year hiatus. Having secured a regular role in United’s LMP2 program since joining in 2023, Hanley aims to reclaim his championship title, saying, “Really looking forward to getting going… Full focus on reclaiming the championship title!”

Di Resta, a former champion in the series and part of United’s last overall win at the 2022 4 Hours of Abu Dhabi, highlighted his eagerness to compete at Sepang, noting, “It’s nice to be doing a championship over the winter months… I think it’s going to be very competitive.”

Team and Technical Insights

United Autosports CEO Richard Dean expressed confidence in the line-up’s potential: “Phil is going from strength to strength… Paul and Ben are two proven championship winners.” The team will also introduce a second LMP2 entry and a McLaren GT3 Evo, with drivers Gregoire Saucy and Wayne Boyd nominated for these efforts, pending confirmation of full line-ups.

As the Asian Le Mans Series gears up for its season, United Autosports aims to leverage its experienced driver roster to make a competitive push in both LMP2 and GT categories. The strategic synergy between Fayer, Hanley, and Di Resta is expected to yield strong results as they navigate the challenges of the upcoming races.
