IMSA Confirms 60-Car Grid for 64th Rolex 24 At Daytona
The International Motor Sports Association (IMSA) has announced an updated entry list for the 64th Rolex 24 At Daytona, confirming a competitive 60-car grid set to participate this month. Notably, Team Tõnis has withdrawn its #61 ORECA 07-Gibson LMP2 from the event, reducing the LMP2 class to 13 entries. The team, led by former Champ Car World Series and IMSA Prototype Challenge champion Tõnis Kasemets, will not be replaced on the grid.
Despite speculation, Proton Competition’s potential return with its Porsche 963 was hampered by the timing of Team Tõnis’s withdrawal, which left insufficient time for inclusion in this year’s lineup.
This year’s race will feature a diverse group of participants, with 228 drivers from 30 countries. Among them are at least 65 past overall and class winners of the Rolex 24, alongside 52 IMSA Champions and over 50 notable winners from the 24 Hours of Le Mans. The roster also includes recent veterans from Formula 1, IndyCar Series champions, and NASCAR Cup Series competitors.
Currently, the entry list still includes two vacancies, with ongoing discussions regarding the fourth driver for RLL Team McLaren’s #59 McLaren GT3 Evo in GTD PRO and the #19 Van der Steur Racing Aston Martin Vantage GT3 Evo in GTD.
The preliminary Roar Before The 24 test days is anticipated to be an important opportunity for teams to finalize their preparations ahead of the highly competitive endurance race.
Provisional Roar Entry List as of January 7, 2026.
