Max Verstappen to Compete at ADAC 24H Nürburgring 2026

Max Verstappen, four-time Formula 1 World Drivers’ Champion, will make his debut at the prestigious ADAC 24H Nürburgring in May 2026. He will drive for Winward Racing in a Mercedes-AMG GT3 EVO, alongside team members Lucas Auer, Jules Gounon, and Daniel Juncadella, under the ‘Mercedes-AMG Team Verstappen Racing’ banner.

Leading up to the event, Verstappen is set to compete in the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie (NLS), starting with the second round on March 21 and including participation in NLS1 and the ADAC Qualifiers weekend in April. “The 24H Nürburgring is a race that’s been on my bucket list for a long time,” Verstappen stated, emphasizing the strength of his team and the support from Red Bull and Mercedes-AMG Motorsport.

Verstappen debuted in the NLS last year, earning his Nordschleife Permit A in a Porsche Cayman and later securing an overall victory in NLS9 with Emil Frey Racing in a Ferrari 296 GT3.

Winward Racing, which last competed in the 24H Nürburgring in 2019 and previously finished second overall in 2016, is also fielding a separate Pro entry under the ‘Mercedes-AMG Team Ravenol’ banner. The #80 Ravenol AMG GT3 EVO will be driven by an experienced lineup of Mercedes-AMG factory drivers: Maro Engel, Maxime Martin, Fabian Schiller, and Luca Stolz.

The 2026 ADAC 24H Nürburgring will take place from May 14 to 17, 2026. Further updates will follow as the event approaches.
