Davison Joins OnlyFans Racing for GT World Challenge Australia
Two-time Bathurst 1000 champion Will Davison is set to make his debut in the GT World Challenge Australia, teaming up with reigning Am drivers’ champion Renee Gracie in the #181 OnlyFans Racing Ferrari 296 GT3. They will compete in the Pro-Am class, with Gracie returning after a strong season in which she dominated the Am category, securing seven victories.
At 43 years old, Davison brings substantial experience from prior GT3 competitions, including notable performances at the Bathurst 12 Hour. “I’m hopeful that bringing my experience can help her take the step up,” he commented, looking to maximize their potential in the competitive Pro-Am field.
Wall Racing Confirms Lamborghini Huracán Entry
Wall Racing has announced its participation in the GT World Challenge Australia with an unchanged lineup of Tony D’Alberto and Adrian Deitz in their Lamborghini Huracán GT3 Evo2. Both drivers begin their second full season after multiple prior appearances.
The team has strengthened its ties with Lamborghini Squadra Corse, benefiting from insights and support that enhanced their performance during the recent Bathurst 12 Hour, where they secured a sixth-place overall finish. D’Alberto expressed confidence in their abilities, stating, “There’s no reason why we can’t be right in the fight” for top positions.
Zagame Autosport Returns with Ferrari 296 GT3
Zagame Autosport has committed to a full season in GT World Challenge Australia, featuring a #23 Ferrari 296 GT3 shared by driver duo Cameron Campbell and Josh Buchan. This follows their strong performances during a one-off appearance at the Hampton Downs finale, where Buchan achieved a commendable fourth in qualifying.
“I’m thrilled to be racing the full season in GT World Challenge Australia,” Buchan stated, emphasizing the significance of competing in a Ferrari. Campbell added, “The goal is to keep narrowing the gap and executing clean weekends.”
