McLaren Racing Live: London Set for July 2-3
London, UK — McLaren Racing will host McLaren Racing Live: London, a two-day celebration of motorsport, on July 2-3 at Trafalgar Square, just ahead of the British Grand Prix at Silverstone.
The event offers fans the opportunity to engage with McLaren’s diverse racing portfolio, featuring vehicles from Formula 1, Formula E, IndyCar, and the World Endurance Championship (WEC), alongside classic heritage cars. Attendees can participate in various interactive experiences, including racing simulators, a Batak reaction wall, and a pit-stop challenge. A merchandise store dedicated to McLaren Racing will also be operational throughout the event.
Louise McEwen, Chief Marketing Officer for McLaren Racing, expressed excitement about the event, stating, “We absolutely cannot wait to paint Trafalgar Square papaya… It will be an unforgettable experience, and we look forward to celebrating with everyone as we get ready for our home race at Silverstone.”
The McLaren Racing Live: London event follows the 2017 F1 Live London show, which featured significant participation from other teams and drivers, minus Lewis Hamilton.
This initiative occurs during a pivotal time for Formula 1, as the 2023 British Grand Prix marks the 75th anniversary of the sport. Additional festivities, including a Silverstone Festival, are planned for August 2023.
For motorsports enthusiasts, this event serves as a prime opportunity to connect with McLaren and witness the brand’s rich racing history firsthand.
