Yamaha Racing Ironman GNCC: A Race for Awareness and Community Impact
MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The 2026 Progressive Grand National Cross Country (GNCC) Series is set for its penultimate round with the Yamaha Racing Ironman GNCC, scheduled for October 23-25 in Crawfordsville, Indiana. This event, renowned for its excitement and community spirit, will turn the town pink in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
The Ironman GNCC has evolved into Montgomery County’s largest fall festival, expected to attract thousands of racers, fans, and families. Organizers emphasize that this race extends beyond competition, promoting awareness and funding for breast cancer care and research. Last year, the GNCC Racing community donated $10,000 to local causes, and this year, proceeds will again support the Montgomery Country Community Foundation (MCCF), which provides free mammogram exams in the region.
Yamaha Motor Corporation continues its commitment to breast cancer awareness, pledging $50 for every Yamaha class win and an additional $50 for each National Championship earned by Yamaha riders during the event. This initiative illustrates Yamaha’s dedication to leveraging racing success for community support.
To further engage participants and promote fundraising, GNCC Racing will allow riders to use pink background colors for their number plates, with HBD MotoGrafx providing options. Donations are structured around these backgrounds, with $5 for a pink front plate and $10 for a complete set. Interested parties can order by contacting HBD MotoGrafx with the code “GOPINK26” for special pricing.
As the Yamaha Racing Ironman GNCC approaches, the focus remains on uniting the racing community for a critical cause. The event promises to deliver both thrilling competition and vital support for breast cancer awareness and research.
