Algarve Pro Racing Announces 2026/27 Asian Le Mans Series Line-up
Algarve Pro Racing, the reigning LMP2 Teams’ Champion, has confirmed its driver roster for the upcoming 2026/27 Asian Le Mans Series season. The team will field a trio of ORECA 07-Gibson entries, spearheaded by the #25 car.
The #25 ORECA will be piloted by the successful trio of Michael Jensen, Enzo Trulli, and Malthe Jakobsen, who previously dominated the European Le Mans Series by securing the LMP2 Pro/Am title. Jensen, returning for his third consecutive Asian Le Mans season, remarked, “The team always gives us a great car, and that gives me the confidence I need to dig deep. We’re here to win.”
Trulli, who achieved three podium finishes last season, expressed enthusiasm about continuing his partnership with APR: “To have been a part of the amazing year that Algarve Pro Racing has produced will always be a highlight of my career.”
Jakobsen, at just 22, aims for a record-extending fourth consecutive Asian Le Mans Series LMP2 Drivers’ title. He noted, “Their car preparation and strategy are exceptional… for myself, winning is, of course, the objective.”
In addition to the #25 entry, Algarve Pro Racing will also compete with the #4 CrowdStrike Racing by APR and the #20 Algarve Pro Racing entries. The confirmed line-up currently includes drivers George Kurtz and John Falb.
With an impressive track record in 2026, which includes victories in the IMSA SportsCar Championship and the 24 Hours of Le Mans, team principal Stewart Cox stated, “2026 has been an amazing year… we want that seventh title win, and we will be bringing three crews that can help us to get it.”
As Algarve Pro Racing gears up for another competitive season, the focus will be on leveraging their championship-winning pedigree to secure further success in the Asian Le Mans Series.
