Chase Sexton’s Kawasaki Tenure: A Brief Overview
Chase Sexton’s stint with Kawasaki has concluded, having participated in a total of 16 races. This comprised 14 races in the 450SX class and two rounds in the AMA Pro Motocross Championship. His season was cut short due to a crash during a press day ahead of the Thunder Valley National in June, which resulted in a knee injury.
During his time aboard the KX450SR, Sexton achieved notable success, securing three podium finishes in 2023. He claimed victory at Anaheim 2 and the Salt Lake City SX finale, along with a second-place finish at Detroit SX in March. Impressively, he has now won the last four season finales in the 450SX class across three different motorcycles.
Sexton faced challenges, including missing three races due to a crash ahead of the Daytona SX. Despite this setback, he finished the season with nine top-five results, underscoring his competitiveness in a demanding season.
