SMX League Unveils Expanded SMX Next World All-Star Championship
ELLENTON, Fla. / MORGANTOWN, W. Va. (November 3, 2026) – The SMX League has announced a major expansion of the SMX Next program, set to launch in 2027. This initiative aims to create a unified athlete development pathway, linking the Supercross and Pro Motocross circuits directly to the Monster Energy SMX World Championship.
The SMX Next World All-Star Championship will feature ten events, incorporating five Supercross races and five Pro Motocross races. A total of 25 athletes will compete, ensuring balanced representation across both disciplines. Points will be awarded at each event, culminating in a decisive showdown at the fifth race of each championship, held at Gillette Stadium and Ironman Raceway, respectively.
The points accumulated throughout the season will determine the seeding for the postseason SMX Next World All-Stars, which is set to take place during the SMX World Championship’s Playoff rounds.
This streamlined format not only increases competition among emerging talents but also strengthens the pathway to professional levels in motorsports. The SMX League continues its commitment to nurturing the next generation of elite racers.
