Emilia Romagna Grand Prix: Leclerc Honors Mechanics with Helmet Design

Imola, Italy — Ahead of the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix weekend, Charles Leclerc has unveiled a striking new helmet design in tribute to the mechanics of Scuderia Ferrari. The helmet closely resembles those worn by the Maranello team members, reflecting his appreciation for their pivotal role in his racing success.

In a social media post, Leclerc expressed his gratitude: “Hope the helmet will be as fast as your pit stops. Thanks for all the hard work; this helmet is as similar as it could be to the one of our mechanics. Imola is special, and I’ll give it all.”

Despite missing media day due to illness, Leclerc participated in Free Practice 1, showcasing his resilience and commitment as the European leg of the 2025 Formula 1 season commenced. Team principal Fred Vasseur emphasized the preparation at Ferrari’s headquarters in Maranello: “Since the last Grand Prix, we’ve worked hard… to maximize the potential of our package.”

Leclerc’s teammate, Lewis Hamilton, also weighed in, stating, “I’ve always loved coming to Imola, but now it means more. We learned a lot from Miami, went deep into the data, and we’ve got a clear direction. I can’t wait to hit the track, especially with the support from the Tifosi.”

The Emilia Romagna Grand Prix marks the start of a challenging triple-header in the season. As the teams and drivers gear up for this pivotal race, expectations are high for a competitive outing against the backdrop of passionate Italian fans.
