George Russell, currently driving for Mercedes, has emerged as a potential key player in Aston Martin’s F1 revival strategy for 2026. Team principal Toto Wolff echoed optimism about Russell’s future with the Silver Arrows, highlighting his growth within the team: “He’s been so long with us… he deserves this place,” acknowledging they have a timeline to finalize contract discussions in light of the series’ busy schedule.
