EA Sports Partners with APXGP Team for Upcoming F1 Film
EA Sports has announced an official partnership with the fictional APXGP Team, coinciding with the release of the highly anticipated F1 film starring Brad Pitt. This collaboration will allow players to engage with the APXGP car through six unique gameplay scenarios in the upcoming game, F1 25, available starting June 30, 2025.
In a teaser released today, viewers were treated to a preview of the film’s soundtrack, featuring a snippet of Ed Sheeran’s track, "Drive." The collaboration is aimed at immersing fans in the F1 narrative, bridging the gap between gaming and cinematic storytelling.
John Reseburg, Vice President of Brand & Communications for EA Sports, stated, “This partnership is a thrilling example of how EA SPORTS brings fans into the action, blurring the lines between sport, storytelling and interactive entertainment.”
Players can unlock the APXGP scenarios by pre-ordering or purchasing the F1 25 Iconic Edition, which will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
The film is set to premiere on June 25 internationally and June 27 in North America, featuring a strong cast including Brad Pitt and Damson Idris under the direction of Joseph Kosinski. Lewis Hamilton will serve as an executive producer.
