Haas Unveils Significant Upgrades Ahead of the United States Grand Prix

Haas F1 Team has introduced a substantial upgrade package for the United States Grand Prix at Circuit of the Americas (COTA), standing out as one of only two teams to do so this weekend. The Sprint race format has historically limited teams’ development capabilities, a trend that continues this year as the majority of the grid shifts focus to the 2026 regulations.

Alongside Haas, only Mercedes has opted to bring new components. The German team has modified the rear corner of its car, reducing upper lip camber to enhance airflow around the top wishbone, while also decreasing winglet span for improved tire clearance.

For Haas, the home race presents an opportunity to strengthen its position in the constructors’ championship battle for sixth place. Central to its update is a completely redesigned floor, including the floor body, floor fences, and edge, which aims to increase aerodynamic load and improve high-speed corner performance. This upgrade builds on the enhancements introduced at Silverstone.

Additionally, Haas has refined the rear corner winglet to work in conjunction with the new floor design and has made adjustments to the mirror stay on the sidepod for better airflow alignment.

With only one practice session scheduled for Friday, Haas will validate these upgrades ahead of the Sprint qualifying that afternoon, emphasizing their commitment to maximizing performance in front of a home crowd.
