Haas F1 Team to Showcase VF23 at 2025 Goodwood Festival of Speed

Gene Haas, the founder of the Haas Formula 1 team, will drive the VF23 during the 2025 Goodwood Festival of Speed, scheduled for July 10-13. Joining him are drivers Esteban Ocon and Oliver Bearman, along with team principal Ayao Komatsu and Kazuki Nakajima, vice chairman of Toyota’s WEC program.

The event marks Haas F1’s debut at the prestigious festival in celebration of its tenth season in Formula 1. The VF23 and the upcoming VF24 will ascend the iconic hillclimb, presenting a unique opportunity for fans to witness the team’s cars in action.

Haas F1 will feature the only interactive hub at the festival, alongside a display in the Ballroom Paddock. Fans can expect to see a lineup including the team’s inaugural car, the VF16, and the current VF25, in addition to an archive showcasing race suits, helmets, and memorabilia.

Ayao Komatsu expressed enthusiasm for participating in the festival, stating, “It makes perfect sense for us to celebrate our tenth season with some of the most knowledgeable fans. It’s going to be one of the highlights of our year.” Over the coming weeks, further announcements regarding the team’s activities at Goodwood are anticipated.

Esteban Ocon expressed his excitement about the event, recalling his previous visit and emphasizing the celebratory nature of the occasion: “We’re going to have lots of exciting things to show… It’s always fun as we’re driving the cars we love.”

With a host of historical cars also present, the festival promises to be a significant event for motorsports enthusiasts.
