Hamilton Addresses Speculation on Relationship with Adami

Lewis Hamilton moved to dispel rumors of tension between himself and Ferrari race engineer Riccardo Adami following a weekend of mixed communication during the Monaco Grand Prix. Despite some terse exchanges captured on the race’s world feed, Hamilton insisted their working relationship is strong and grounded in professionalism.

"There’s a lot of speculation. Most of it is BS,” Hamilton stated emphatically. “Our relationship is great. We’re both learning and adapting to each other’s working styles.” His comments come ahead of the Spanish Grand Prix, emphasizing that any suggested disagreements are typical in a driver-engineer dynamic.

During the Monaco race, Hamilton expressed frustration over a lack of information concerning race gaps, leading to his inquiry about Adami’s emotional state. “I didn’t get all the information that I wanted, but we spoke afterwards,” he explained, attributing any radio communication issues to technical glitches rather than interpersonal conflict.

Adami, who has previously worked with notable drivers like Sebastian Vettel and Carlos Sainz, has been characterized by Hamilton as “amazing to work with.” Hamilton acknowledged that while not every weekend goes perfectly, the duo’s mutual goal is to enhance team performance and pursue championship aspirations.

“Do we have disagreements? Like everyone does in relationships, but we work through them," he added. “We both want to win a championship together."

Hamilton’s remarks aim to put an end to speculation, reinforcing a collaborative spirit ahead of the next race.
