Qatar Grand Prix Preview: Hamilton Reflects on Challenges with Ferrari
Lewis Hamilton has expressed no regrets about his decision to join Ferrari, despite the team’s challenging 2025 season as they head into the Qatar Grand Prix. Ferrari, which was competitive in the constructors’ championship last year, has struggled this season, failing to secure a victory with only two races remaining.
While Hamilton has achieved a Sprint win and two top-three finishes, he has yet to stand on a grand prix podium this season. “I don’t regret the decision I made joining the team. I know it takes time to build and grow within an organization,” Hamilton stated, emphasizing the emotional connection with Ferrari’s passionate fanbase and dedicated team members.
Following a disappointing performance at the Las Vegas Grand Prix, Hamilton labeled the current season as his worst. Nonetheless, he downplayed these sentiments ahead of the Qatar event, noting, “At this stage, I’d be surprised if the other drivers are excited about next year… You’re looking forward to time with family.”
Looking ahead, Hamilton acknowledged the need for significant improvements, stating, “We’ll analyze the season… We all have to play a part, and I believe that we can.” He remains optimistic about the team’s potential in the coming year, while aiming for a strong finish in Qatar.
