Imola GP Qualifying Interrupted by Tsunoda Crash
Qualifying for the Imola Grand Prix was temporarily halted after Red Bull driver Yuki Tsunoda suffered a serious crash at the Villeneuve chicane. During the session, Tsunoda lost control of his RB21, resulting in heavy contact with the inside wall and causing his car to barrel roll. Fortunately, Tsunoda emerged uninjured from the incident.
The red flag was deployed with 12 minutes remaining in Q1, as only 10 of the 20 drivers had set a lap time at that point. The session resumed at 16:20 local time.
