Title: Bruckheimer Highlights Sky Sports F1 Commentators’ Role in Upcoming Film

During the world premiere of the new F1 film, producer Jerry Bruckheimer emphasized the vital role of Sky Sports F1’s David Croft and Martin Brundle in enhancing the movie’s authenticity. Their involvement, which came at the request of executive producer Lewis Hamilton, saw the duo conduct extensive studio sessions to deliver accurate commentary.

Brundle noted, "We did 19 hours in a studio in London… the attention to detail was very, very impressive." Croft contributed live commentary, showcasing his well-known adaptability.

Bruckheimer praised their contributions, stating, "They kept us honest. If they saw something that wouldn’t happen, we changed it." He continued, highlighting their significance for American audiences unfamiliar with Formula 1: "They explain everything… you walk out knowing what an F1 race is all about."

Directed by Joseph Kosinski and featuring Brad Pitt and Damson Idris, the film is set for global release on June 25, 2025, and in North America on June 27. Early reviews indicate a positive reception, particularly from those outside the F1 circle.
