Ferrari’s F80 Showcase with Hamilton and Leclerc
In an exhilarating demonstration of performance and engineering, Formula 1 stars Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc recently took the wheel of Ferrari’s latest halo supercar, the F80, at the Fiorano test track.
The F80, a mid-engined marvel, features a 3-litre V6 hybrid engine producing an impressive 1,200 horsepower and 850 Nm of torque. Hamilton praised the vehicle, calling it "the fastest road car I’ve ever been in," while both drivers expressed eagerness to place orders for the car.
Leclerc initiated the drive, quickly noting its speed as Hamilton experienced the powerful acceleration from the passenger seat. “Holy shit,” Hamilton remarked, visibly impressed. After their initial runs, Leclerc enthusiastically stated, “It drives so nice,” encouraging Hamilton to enjoy the experience when they swapped seats.
Reflecting on the car’s dynamics, Leclerc commented on its remarkable handling: “The turn-in is so good, so reactive.” Hamilton agreed, asserting, “This is the fastest road car Ferrari has done, for sure.” Leclerc concluded by confirming his intention to order a model in “full black,” highlighting the car’s desirability among elite drivers.
Their day of track testing showcased not just the F80’s capabilities but also the camaraderie between two of motorsport’s top talents.
