Nigel Mansell to Star at 2025 Goodwood Festival of Speed
Goodwood has announced that 1992 Formula 1 World Champion Nigel Mansell will attend the 2025 Festival of Speed, marking a significant highlight in the event’s lineup. The Festival, scheduled for July 10-13, 2025, will celebrate the 75th anniversary of the Formula 1 World Championship and will feature other F1 legends, including Alain Prost and Mario Andretti.
Mansell, a fan favorite renowned for his competitive spirit, will showcase two iconic racing cars: his championship-winning Williams FW14B and the race-winning Williams FW11. This appearance marks Mansell’s fourth at the Festival.
Reflecting on his return, Mansell stated, “I’m looking forward to returning to the Festival of Speed this summer… It’s been amazing to drive the Goodwood hillclimb in a number of my cars over the years, and I can’t wait to do it all again!”
The Duke of Richmond expressed his excitement, saying, “I couldn’t be happier that Nigel will be coming back… He was more than just a legend of the sport; he was a hero.”
The Goodwood Festival of Speed, held annually at Goodwood House in Chichester, features a renowned hillclimb event showcasing both historic and modern racing vehicles. The event continues to draw motorsport enthusiasts from around the globe, celebrating the rich history and evolution of racing.
