French F1 Drivers Anticipate UEFA Final Amid Grand Prix Preparations

As qualifying for the Spanish Grand Prix approaches, French Formula 1 drivers Pierre Gasly, Esteban Ocon, and Isack Hadjar express enthusiasm for the impending UEFA Champions League final, where Paris Saint-Germain will face Inter Milan at the Munich Football Arena tonight at 20:00 CET.

Ocon, representing Haas, shared his excitement, stating, "I will. I will. Big stress!" He predicts a close match with a score of 1-0 in favor of PSG. In a friendly rivalry, Gasly and Hadjar plan to watch together, both forecasting a more animated 3-2 victory for the Parisian side.

The trio recently participated in a charity football match preceding the Monaco Grand Prix. Gasly remarked on Hadjar’s spirited performance, suggesting the rookie’s future lies more in team dynamics than on the pitch: “I like his mentality and team spirit… He goes all out, same as on track."

Hadjar reflected on the experience, acknowledging the physical toll of an 11-a-side game: “It was really tough… I realized my muscles are not made for football.”

Gasly further elaborated on the charity event’s significance, emphasizing the community spirit: “To be able to share a moment where you get the drivers, who are your rivals on track, is quite a unique feeling… it’s a win for everybody.” This year’s match supported the Jules Foundation Association, reinforcing the event’s positive impact beyond motorsports.
