Keanu Reeves to Document Cadillac’s F1 Journey Ahead of 2026 Season

In a groundbreaking move for motorsports storytelling, actor and filmmaker Keanu Reeves will host a multi-part documentary series detailing the Cadillac Formula 1 team’s preparations for its debut in 2026. The series, produced in collaboration with North One, aims to provide an in-depth look at the establishment and development of Cadillac as a new constructor in the highly competitive F1 landscape.

Reeves, who previously produced a documentary on Brawn GP’s remarkable rise to championship success in 2009, expressed his enthusiasm for the project, stating, “I’m very honored and excited to be a part of telling the remarkable Cadillac Formula 1 team story and its incredible journey into the world of Formula 1 racing.”

The series will have exclusive access to Cadillac, TWG Motorsports, and General Motors (GM), showcasing the challenges and triumphs as the team establishes a competitive presence with an American foundation. Dan Towriss, CEO of TWG Motorsports and the Cadillac F1 team, emphasized the ambition behind the project, calling it “a story of bold ambition and relentless drive,” and commended Reeves for his passion for racing.

Mark Reuss, president of GM, highlighted the collaborative effort between General Motors and TWG Motorsports, stating, “It’s a thrill to have Keanu Reeves document the Cadillac Formula 1 team’s journey to our first season in the FIA Formula 1 World Championship.”

The documentary is set to air ahead of Cadillac’s inaugural race, with the 2026 season commencing March 8 in Melbourne, Australia. This initiative aims not only to document the formation of a new team but also to engage and educate a new generation of F1 fans.
