When questioned about the possibility of transitioning to a new environment during this pivotal time, Verstappen maintained focus on the present. "There is no decision at the moment," he stated. "I just focus on what I have ahead of me, work with the team. A lot of people make assumptions, but that’s not me."

Pressed on the specifics of his contract, which extends to 2028, Verstappen was curt in his response: "I’m not speaking about my contract, to be honest. I think it’s a bit easier like that for everyone."
While George Russell of Mercedes expressed confidence in his team’s championship potential, Verstappen chose to sidestep any endorsement for Red Bull, crafting his commentary around uncertainties that may arise in the upcoming season. "No one can say 100% sure that they will be fully comfortable next year," he remarked. "There will be so many unknowns anyway for next year. The only thing that I have to do is drive whatever I have fast."
