Bryan Herta Autosport with PR1/Mathiasen Reveals 2026 Driver Line-Up
Bryan Herta Autosport (BHA) in partnership with PR1/Mathiasen Motorsports has announced key components of its driver lineup for the 2026 season, confirming Misha Goikhberg as a full-time Bronze driver, alongside veteran Ben Keating at the upcoming Rolex 24 At Daytona.
Misha Goikhberg Returns to Prototype Racing
Goikhberg transitions to BHA/PR1 after spending three seasons with Forte Racing in GTD. His recent FIA classification change from Silver to Bronze facilitates his return to the prototype category, where he has previously found success, notably winning his class at the 2016 Daytona 24 Hours and the overall title at the 2018 Six Hours of the Glen.
“This is a bit of a homecoming for me… I have missed prototype racing, and I am thrilled to taste the downforce and take a ride in a purpose-built race car,” said Goikhberg, expressing his enthusiasm for the upcoming season.
Ben Keating’s Familiar Return
Ben Keating rejoins PR1/Mathiasen, the team with which he secured two IMSA WeatherTech LMP2 championships and two Michelin Endurance Cup titles. This year, he competed in LMP2 and also drove for the Trackhouse by TF Sport Chevrolet Corvette Z06 GT3.R.
“I am so excited to race in the Rolex 24 again with PR1… It all feels like home; every little piece is part of one big family,” stated Keating as he looks forward to reuniting with the team.
Open Seats and Testing at Daytona
While Goikhberg’s full-time teammate for the WeatherTech SportsCar Championship and Michelin Endurance Cup remains undecided, Tristan Vautier and Parker Thompson are testing the No. 52 ORECA 07-Gibson at Daytona this weekend, aiming to secure a spot for the 2026 season.
Thompson emphasized the significance of returning to prototype racing, stating, “I’m also looking forward to getting to know all the fine folks at BHA/PR1 Mathiesen,” expressing pride in being part of this collaboration.
Vautier added, “I want to thank Bryan and Bobby for having me. I’ve worked with Misha and Ben in the past… I know we’ll all get along very well.”
As the season approaches, the integration of these experienced drivers with BHA and PR1/Mathiasen sets the stage for a competitive 2026 in the LMP2 category.
