Corvette Racing Announces Driver Lineup for 2026 IMSA Season
Corvette Racing, in collaboration with Pratt Miller Motorsports, has unveiled its driver roster for the upcoming 2026 IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship, featuring an unchanged core of talent in the GTD PRO class. Reigning champions Antonio García and Alexander Sims will continue their partnership in the No. 3 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 GT3.R, while Tommy Milner and Nicky Catsburg will remain with the No. 4 entry.
This season marks García’s 18th and Milner’s 16th as factory drivers for Corvette Racing. “Winning my seventh championship is part of our goals,” García stated, citing aspirations to capture prestigious races like Daytona and Sebring after a successful season that saw the team clinch several titles. The No. 3 Corvette scored an overall victory at VIRginia International Raceway and amassed five podiums, while the No. 4 contributed with notable second-place finishes at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park and Petit Le Mans, culminating in nine podiums collectively.
For the endurance events, Nico Varrone will continue to drive the No. 4 Corvette, alongside Milner and Catsburg. Marvin Kirchhöfer, a former McLaren GT3 factory driver, joins the No. 3 team with García and Sims. Kirchhöfer expressed enthusiasm about joining a team with such a strong heritage: “Racing for a team like Pratt Miller and representing Chevrolet and Corvette is a dream for us European drivers.”
Varrone is set to balance his commitments with Corvette Racing while also competing in the FIA Formula 2 Championship for the 2026 season. “Corvette Racing by Pratt Miller Motorsports is my home, and I can’t wait to be back for the long races,” he remarked.
This lineup positions Corvette Racing strongly as they aim to defend their titles and focus on the enduring legacy of the Corvette brand in motorsports.
