Ferrari Challenge Returns to Watkins Glen for Penultimate Round

Watkins Glen, NY – The Ferrari Challenge North America series converges on Watkins Glen International this weekend, marking the penultimate round of its 2025 season. A total of 60 Ferrari 296 Challenge vehicles, alongside over 40 additional entries across Club Challenge and Club Competizioni GT, are set to compete at one of America’s iconic road courses.

Significant Entries and Local Representation

This event is Ferrari Challenge’s sole visit to the Northeast this season, with previous races held in California, Florida, and Indianapolis. Local dealers are seizing the opportunity to showcase their talents.

  • Wide World Ferrari enters three drivers including Jason McCarthy, last year’s Trofeo Pirelli winner at Watkins Glen. Kevin Orsini and Anthony DeCarlo will represent the team in Coppa Shell and Coppa Shell Am categories.
  • Ferrari of Central New Jersey fields three competitors, including Jeffrey Nunberg, who sits fourth in Coppa Shell Am standings.
  • Ferrari Philadelphia’s Gary Ott leads his team at the Glen, accompanied by returning drivers Matthew and Stephanie Herfield.

Canadian contingent Ferrari of Quebec sends two drivers, Benoit Bergeron and Martin Burrowes, to battle in Trofeo Pirelli Am. Burrowes recently clinched a victory in Indianapolis.

  • Trofeo Pirelli: Massimo Perrina (Ferrari of Seattle) holds a narrow 25-point lead over Dylan Medler (The Collection).
  • Trofeo Pirelli Am: Brad Fauvre (Ferrari of San Francisco) and Sebastian Mascaro (Ferrari of Central Florida) are separated by just eight points.
  • Coppa Shell: Yahn Bernier (Ferrari of Seattle) leads, having secured three consecutive wins, while Mitchell Green (Ferrari of Westlake) remains a strong competitor.
  • Coppa Shell Am: Gabe Hrib (Ferrari of Atlanta) retains a slim 16-point advantage over Michael Owens (Ferrari of Alberta).
