GetSpeed Returns to Rolex 24 with Anthony Bartone in GT3 Entry

GetSpeed, a premier Mercedes-AMG customer team, is set to field its second entry in the prestigious Rolex 24 At Daytona in January. Partnering with Bartone Bros. Racing, driver Anthony Bartone will pilot the No. 69 Mercedes-AMG GT3 EVO, marking his second appearance in the endurance classic.

In 2022, Bartone secured a commendable fifth-place finish in GTD PRO, sharing the car with Mercedes-AMG Performance Drivers Luca Stolz, Fabian Schiller, and Maxime Martin. The full driver lineup for the upcoming race will be announced in due course.

“I am looking forward to the second go-around for me and the GetSpeed team at the Rolex 24,” Bartone stated. “Last year we had a good showing; the car got away from us in the heat a little, but we learned from it. As my dad said, ‘They knew we were there.’ We are looking to build upon that success.”

Having honed his skills in Europe alongside teammates Schiller and Andy Pilgrim, Bartone is coming off a successful season that included a victory in Race 1 of the Michelin Le Mans Cup at Circuit de la Sarthe. GetSpeed also secured a win and three additional podiums in the International GT Open series.

Adam Osieka, CEO and Team Principal of GetSpeed, emphasized the significance of their return: “This partnership with Bartone Bros. Racing and Anthony Bartone is built on trust, ambition, and the pursuit of excellence. We know what to expect this time, and we’re ready for the challenge.”

The collaboration will be put to the test at the Asian Le Mans Series opener in Sepang on December 12, ahead of the Rolex 24.
