Elkhart Lake, WI — The International Motor Sport Association (IMSA) has confirmed a robust 49-car entry list for the upcoming Motul SportsCar Grand Prix at Road America, marking the only sprint round to feature all four WeatherTech SportsCar Championship categories.

All 11 full-time GTP entries will compete, with Acura Meyer Shank Racing aiming to extend its recent success after securing consecutive victories at Detroit and Watkins Glen. Porsche Penske Motorsport holds significant leads in all three GTP championships, with the No. 6 Porsche 963 of Mathieu Jaminet and Matt Campbell currently leading the Drivers’ standings by 12 points over the No. 7 driven by Felipe Nasr and Nick Tandy, who suffered a crash at the Six Hours of the Glen.

Behind them, the No. 93 Acura of Renger van der Zande and Nick Yelloly leads a competitive quartet battling for third place, with only 46 points separating them from the rest, including BMW M Team RLL and Cadillac Wayne Taylor Racing.

In the LMP2 category, 14 entrants are poised to compete, including newcomer Team Tonis, led by Estonian driver Tonis Kasemets. Kasemets will pair with Matthew Brabham in the No. 61 ORECA 07-Gibson. JDC-Miller MotorSports re-enters with the No. 79 ORECA for drivers Gerry Kraut and Scott Andrews, who missed the previous race due to limited track time.

Notable lineup changes include Connor De Phillippi replacing the injured Tom Dillmann at Inter Europol Competition, while Kakunoshin Ohta returns to LMP2 with Era Motorsport. PR1 Mathiasen Motorsports has introduced Naveen Rao to the No. 52 car in a driver lineup reshuffle.

GTD PRO will feature 10 cars, with a tight race for the top position as Corvette Racing, AO Racing, and DragonSpeed compete closely. In GTD, the 14-car field includes the No. 32 Korthoff Competition Mercedes-AMG GT3 EVO, which returns after a hiatus, featuring driver Mike Skeen alongside Endurance Cup competitor Daniel Morad.

Winward Racing leads the championship heading into the two-hour, 40-minute race with a 93-point advantage.

As teams finalize their preparations for the race, fans and competitors alike anticipate a highly competitive showdown at one of IMSA’s premier venues.
