Intersport Racing Announces Driver Line-Up for 2026 IMSA Season
Intersport Racing has unveiled its driver roster for the 2026 IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship, featuring experienced prototype drivers Jon Field and Oliver Jarvis. The pair will pilot the No. 37 ORECA 07-Gibson LMP2 in the seven-race season, collaborating with HMD Motorsports.
Field, who also serves as the team owner, returns to full-time IMSA competition following a one-off appearance at the 2023 Rolex 24 At Daytona, his first major start since 2011. Jarvis, a veteran with a proven track record, including winning the 2022 IMSA title and overall honors at the Daytona 24 Hours, is also making a full-time return to IMSA after his stint with Pfaff Motorsports in 2024.
“It’s thrilling to return with this level of talent and support,” Field stated. “The blend of experience and youth in our lineup gives us every tool to fight for wins from Daytona onwards.”
Jarvis echoed this enthusiasm, expressing excitement about returning to a championship where he has achieved significant success. “Intersport is an ambitious and passionate team… I’m looking forward to getting started and fighting for wins together this year,” he noted.
For the Michelin Endurance Cup, Seth Lucas will join Field and Jarvis at Daytona, Sebring, Watkins Glen, Road America, and Petit Le Mans. Lucas, a former LMP2 driver with High Class Racing and Korthoff Motorsports, shared his eagerness for the new season. “I am super excited… driving alongside Jon Field,” he commented.
Additionally, Dutch driver Job van Uitert, the 2018 European Le Mans Series LMP3 Champion and multiple-time LMP2 race winner, rounds out the team’s four-driver line-up for the Rolex 24 At Daytona. “I’m confident that we will fight for the win,” van Uitert stated, reflecting the team’s ambitious outlook for the season.
With a mix of seasoned talent and youthful energy, Intersport Racing aims to make a significant impact in the upcoming championship.
