NBC Sports Unveils IMSA 2026 Broadcast Schedule

NBC Sports has confirmed its comprehensive schedule for the 2026 IMSA television and streaming coverage, which will total over 160 hours of racing content available across NBC, Peacock, and the newly relaunched NBCSN.

Key Broadcast Highlights:

  • Peacock Streaming: More than 140 hours of coverage will be exclusively on the Peacock platform, including every race and qualifying session of the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship.
  • Major Race Airings: NBC will provide live broadcasts of pivotal events, including:
    • The 64th Rolex 24 At Daytona (start and finish, Jan. 24-25)
    • The 29th Motul Petit Le Mans (start, Oct. 3)
    • Four sprint races:
      • Grand Prix of Long Beach (April 18)
      • Detroit Grand Prix (May 30)
      • Michelin GT Challenge at VIR (Aug. 23)
      • TireRack.com Battle on the Bricks at Indianapolis (Sept. 20)

Season Preview and Review: NBC and Peacock will air a season preview on Jan. 3 at 3:00 PM ET and a review show on Oct. 11 at 2:30 PM ET.

Expanded Coverage: In addition to the WeatherTech series, Peacock will also cover the Michelin Pilot Challenge, VP Racing SportsCar Challenge, Lamborghini Super Trofeo North America, Porsche Carrera Cup North America, and Mustang Challenge North America.

NBCSN’s Role: The relaunch of NBCSN as a 24/7 network will enhance event coverage, featuring simulcast broadcasts of select races, including the final hours of the Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring and the Motul Petit Le Mans, as well as flag-to-flag coverage of the Monterey SportsCar Championship at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca.

Commentary Team: NBC has retained lead commentator Leigh Diffey alongside analysts Calvin Fish and Brian Till for its 2026 IMSA broadcasts.
