Mercedes-AMG Reveals Driver Line-Ups for 64th Rolex 24 At Daytona
Mercedes-AMG has announced its driver line-ups for five customer entries in the upcoming Rolex 24 At Daytona, prominently featuring two-time NTT IndyCar Series champion Will Power, who makes his long-awaited debut in this endurance race.
Power will pilot the No. 75 Mercedes-AMG GT3 EVO for Kenny Habul’s 75 Express team, alongside newly-crowned Repco Supercars Champion Chaz Mostert and veteran Mercedes-AMG Performance Driver Maro Engel. Power originally intended to compete in 2023 but withdrew to support his wife during a health crisis.
The No. 75 entry is one of three GTD PRO Mercedes-AMG cars, with Winward Racing fielding two entries for the first time. Their No. 48 car will be driven by Scott Noble, Jason Hart, Maxime Martin, and Luca Stolz, amid new minimum drive time requirements for Bronze drivers.
GetSpeed, in collaboration with Bartone Bros Racing, has confirmed Anthony Bartone will be joined by Maximilian Götz, Jules Gounon, and Fabian Schiller for the No. 69 entry.
Winward Racing also aims for a championship hat-trick with the No. 57 GTD entry, featuring Russell Ward, Philip Ellis, Indy Dontje, and Lucas Auer. This team will look to build on their prior performance, where they notably recovered from a seven-lap deficit to finish fourth in class.
Additionally, Lone Star Racing will field the No. 80 car, with Lin Hodenius making his Rolex 24 debut alongside Scott Andrews, Ralf Aron, and a fourth driver to be announced.
Stefan Wendl, Head of Mercedes-AMG Customer Racing, characterized the Rolex 24 as a “highlight” of the racing calendar, emphasizing the competitiveness of the Mercedes-AMG GT3 at Daytona. He stated, “Our goal is clear: we want to fight for victory again in the 24-hour race and also play a leading role in the IMSA championship in 2026. The chance of a hat-trick gives us additional motivation.”
Mercedes-AMG holds three class wins at the Rolex 24, including two GTD victories from Winward Racing in 2021 and 2024, and a GTD PRO class win by WeatherTech Racing in 2023.
In addition to the endurance entries, Mercedes-AMG confirmed two full-season GT4 entries in the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge GS class. Bryce Ward and Daan Arrow will continue in the No. 57 Winward Racing Mercedes-AMG GT4, while Murillo Racing returns with the No. 24 car, driven by Kenny Murillo and Aurora Straus.
The intensified competition and noteworthy driver combinations set the stage for an exhilarating 64th iteration of the Rolex 24 At Daytona.
