IMSA Updates Entry List for 64th Rolex 24 At Daytona, 60-Car Grid Confirmed

The International Motor Sports Association (IMSA) has released an updated entry list for the 64th Rolex 24 At Daytona, confirming a robust 60-car grid. Notable changes include the withdrawal of Team Tonis, led by former Champ Car World Series driver Tonis Kasemets, which has pulled its No. 61 ORECA 07-Gibson LMP2 entry. Consequently, the LMP2 class will feature 13 cars without a replacement for Team Tonis.

Despite inquiries from Proton Competition regarding a potential return with its Porsche 963, the late withdrawal of Team Tonis did not allow sufficient time for their inclusion.

The latest entry list reflects most recent driver confirmations, with remaining vacancies noted for the fourth driver positions at RLL Team McLaren’s No. 59 McLaren 720S GT3 Evo in GTD PRO and the No. 19 Van der Steur Racing Aston Martin Vantage GT3 Evo in GTD.

This year’s race will see participation from 228 drivers representing 30 countries, including at least 65 previous Rolex 24 overall and class winners, 52 IMSA champions, and over 50 former overall or class winners of the 24 Hours of Le Mans. The lineup also features several recent Formula 1 contemporaries, NTT IndyCar Series champions, and NASCAR Cup Series contenders.
