Arrow McLaren Acquires Andretti Global IndyCar Operations, Begins Major Renovation
Arrow McLaren has completed the acquisition of Andretti Global’s long-standing IndyCar operations facility in Indianapolis, marking a pivotal development for the team. Now operating from the former Andretti property, Arrow McLaren is set to embark on a comprehensive renovation and expansion project aimed for completion by early 2026.
The transition involves moving from a 33,000-square-foot facility to an upgraded 86,000-square-foot space, effectively tripling the team’s operational footprint. This change is designed to enhance daily workflow and operational efficiency.
Key features of the renovation include a redesigned lobby to celebrate the team’s heritage, a new second-floor mezzanine, a premier fitness center, and enhanced accessibility with a new elevator. Also planned are exterior upgrades, such as added windows and architectural enhancements, aligning with McLaren Racing’s branding strategy.
Zak Brown, CEO of McLaren Racing, emphasized the significance of this move, stating, “We’re proud to begin the renovation and grow our footprint right here in Indianapolis. The investment is a big step in our long-term growth, and this new facility will provide our team with state-of-the-art tools, equipment, and space to keep pushing forward.”
In parallel, Andretti Global is undergoing similar renovations at its new facility within Indianapolis, highlighting a commitment to innovation and growth within the region’s motorsports landscape.
