Milwaukee Mile Practice Results: Dixon Sets Pace Ahead of Snap-on 250
Milwaukee, WI — Scott Dixon emerged as the fastest driver in the final practice session for the Snap-on 250 at the Milwaukee Mile, clocking a lap at 158.712 mph in the No. 9 Honda. The session highlighted the competitive landscape as several drivers pushed for optimal performance ahead of the race on Sunday.
David Malukas of AJ Foyt Racing secured second place with a speed of 154.871 mph in the No. 4 Chevy, closely followed by Arrow McLaren’s Nolan Siegel at 154.514 mph in the No. 6 Chevy. Team Penske’s Josef Newgarden took fourth with 154.486 mph, while Marcus Armstrong of Meyer Shank Racing rounded out the top five at 154.413 mph. Notably, polesitter Alex Palou from Chip Ganassi Racing finished sixth with a lap of 154.221 mph.
The practice session was marred by incidents, including a pit road collision involving Santino Ferrucci and Devlin DeFrancesco, resulting in suspension repairs for both teams. Additionally, Sting Ray Robb encountered the wall with two minutes remaining, causing significant damage to his car from Juncos Hollinger Racing.
The Snap-on 250 will commence Sunday at 2 p.m. ET, promising an exciting race as teams make final adjustments following the session’s findings.
